The Accommodations & Accessibility Leadership (AAL)™ Program

Program Overview

 

Take a deeper dive into  accommodations and accessibility. Why? The demographics are changing, along with traditional human resource practices. Your workforce and/or your customers will expect the organization to create physical and digital spaces that are welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for people with disabilities, Veterans, older individuals, caregivers, and others.


Your organization needs a leader who  understands, anticipates, and responds appropriately to requests for  accommodations. Your knowledge and ideas are also important for  designing accessible solutions to complex problems. Additionally, you  are pivotal in understanding how the complexity of intersectionality  requires up-to-date strategies for inclusion. This experiential learning  course takes you on a journey to explore how to go beyond compliance  towards innovation, effective communication, and allyship. Also, learn  how to use data to mitigate risks and measure high performance.


This  immersive program includes understanding how to apply next-generation  technology in a functional environment, as well as distinguishing  between universal design and accessible/inclusive design best practices.  Also, find out how to connect your organization’s goals to the future  of accommodations and accessibility management.

Program Objectives

  • Impart data on the dynamic lives and organizational cultures in which modern-day professionals live and work.


  • Ensure there is a proper use case for developing new policies and practices that are inclusive.


  • Provide practical examples and case studies that you and your team can use to benchmark performance.


  • Improve how accommodations and accessibility are managed, integrated, and aligned with business objectives.


  • Develop  a framework that allows for collaboration and allyship for people with  disabilities, caregivers, different generational groups, and other  stakeholders.


  • Scan the environment for risks, compliance, belonging, and high performance.


  • Adapt  change management practices that are forward-thinking, fair, and  responsive to the needs of people with disabilities and caregivers.
